The detached house is very spacious and therefore suitable for a maximum of 8 people. Outside July and August there are quite a few couples who prefer to stay alone. You can do all your shopping there. There are restaurants, a charging station, ATM, delicatessen, Spar, doctor, dentist and pharmacy. For nature lovers, this is the ideal base for exploring the Ardèche, the Gard and the Cévennes. Walking trails start right from your holiday home. Kayaking is possible a few kilometres away. Fishing is possible in the Ardèche and its tributaries. Want more activity? You can cycle through the authentic rocky landscape but also on the Via Ardèche: a newly created cycling route along the old railway line. Bikes for hire 3 km away. You certainly cannot leave the Ardèche without visiting one of the beautiful caves and exploring the many markets. If you love culture, the many small medieval villages in the immediate vicinity (including Rochecolombe, Lagorce, Balazuc, Labeaume, Vogüé, Lanas etc) and the Grotte Chauvet (UNESCO heritage site) will certainly enchant you. In the house there are 2 folders with tourist information, restaurants, walks, cycling trips along the railway track But simply enjoying a glass on the sunny terrace with a view of Mont d'Ardèche might make you decide to postpone all of this until next time.
