Le Lit et L'image

Between the vineyards and sunflower fields in the Charente-Maritime, just a few kilometers from the Paris-Bordeaux motorway, lies Le lit et L'image in an oasis of peace and quiet. Dominique and Ivan welcome you warmly to their converted Charentais house, now a Chambres d'Hôtes. The B&B and gîte are located in a small hamlet, away from mass tourism. A lesser-known region for Flemish and Dutch visitors, but it offers a wealth of possibilities. In less than an hour you can reach the cultural cities of Saintes, Bordeaux or Angoulême. A good half hour's drive takes you to the coast. You're situated right between the Cognac and Bordeaux wine routes, where you can walk, cycle, mountain bike, taste local produce and enjoy the region with its castles. Would you rather have a lazy day than a tiring one? Then relax by the swimming pool or sip a local Pineau des Charentes in the shade of the linden tree.
