Domaine la Fontaine is a delightful place to enjoy the Charente-Maritime, a beautiful area in South-West France. A truly exceptional French paradise on earth. The estate is located on the edge of the small village of Soubran in a rural and peaceful setting. With its own heated swimming pool and impressive views over a vast valley, you can enjoy all the things that make life good. We offer five tastefully decorated B&B rooms with en-suite bathrooms, in a charming 19th-century Charentaise house. There is a dining room and a cosy lounge for shared use, with TV, fireplace, piano and a well-stocked bookcase. One of the rooms is suitable for wheelchair users. There are also four gites (from 2 to 7 people), each with its own kitchen, and a fifth gite (6-8 people) 'maison Akotee' with private garden and swimming pool. For all guests of Domaine la Fontaine there is a secure heated swimming pool, terrace with sun loungers, a large communal garden with picnic tables, BBQ and ample parking. Free WiFi is available in all buildings and throughout the grounds.

About this room

We have 5 different charming rooms, each with its own bathroom featuring a sink, shower and toilet. The luxury room also has a separate bathtub. There are three rooms on the ground floor, one of which is adapted for wheelchair users. The two rooms on the first floor have a beautiful view over the valley. All rooms are located in our authentic Charentaise 'grande maison' dating from 1863 with wooden floors and atmospheric fireplaces. There is a lounge for shared use. The TV, library and piano are available to everyone.
