A Ladybug in Provence is located near the picturesque village of Roumoules (book now for a holiday in 2027) Beneath the azure-blue skies of Provence, between the purple glow of the lavender fields of Valensole, you experience a wonderful holiday in gîte Coccinelle. The property is situated in a breathtaking natural area, near the Canyon du Verdon, the emerald-green Lac de Sainte-Croix, the charming Roman town of Riez, the picturesque Moustiers-Sainte-Marie and the impressive Gorges du Verdon. The gîte is an extension of the main house, but has completely private access, its own parking and entrance. With an area of 60 m² it is comfortably equipped for four people. You can enjoy the swimming pool (4x6 m) with sun terrace, heated by solar energy, and surrounded by a green garden. Layout: * Cosy living area with equipped kitchen * Two spacious bedrooms each with a double bed (1.60 x 2 m) * Bathroom with shower * Separate toilet * Covered terrace (22 m²) with garden furniture, views of the garden and pool. Amenities: TV – Wifi – Washing machine – Dishwasher – Refrigerator with freezer compartment – Microwave – Coffee maker – BBQ Activities Discover the beautiful surroundings via walking and cycling routes, enjoy water sports on the lakes and rivers of the Verdon, or try paragliding and gliding for a unique view. Take excursions to the charming Provençal villages and discover their charm and authenticity. Culinary pleasures In the nearby villages you will find cosy restaurants, cafes and Provençal markets with delicious artisanal products. The local wine cellars also invite you to enjoy a pleasant wine tasting. Fijne ontvangst bij Gerda & René. Dat was echt thuiskomen bij Belgen. Ze gaven alle info die nodig was en verder deed ieder zijn ding. Ze wonen zelf naast het huisje maar in alle discretie. Twee ruime kamers, keuken, zwembad, alles erop en eraan. Perfect huis om de streek van Georges de Verdon, Lac de Sainte Croix. te ontdekken. Heel mooie vakantie gehad. Elke en Steven

Wij verbleven hier twee weken, ze vlogen voorbij… Roumoules is een rustig dorpje waar de tijd is blijven stilstaan. De gite ligt aan de buitenkant van Roumoules, rustig gelegen dus. Al wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig en de eigenaars zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam én discreet. Wij hebben vele wandelingen gemaakt in de directe en wat verdere omgeving, ook op het bovengelegen plateau met mooie zichten rondom. Voor juli kan je hier lavendelvelden zien (en ruiken) zover het oog reikt. Er zijn vele mooie dorpjes in de buurt waar het goed vertoeven is onder de platanen… We hebben ervan genoten. Carpé dièm!
