La Colline

La Colline, located a 20-minute walk from the centre of Sarlat, welcomes you with open arms. We offer you 5 similar, beautifully furnished B&B rooms, each with its own bathroom, shower and separate toilet. WiFi is available free of charge. You can choose between a room with a queen-size bed or a room with 2 single beds. In the breakfast room we offer you a delicious continental breakfast every morning between 8 and 10 o'clock. You can enjoy croissants, chocolate pastries, baguettes, various jams, fruit juice, yoghurt, muesli.... This is always included in the B&B rates. Those who wish can join us in the evening for a pleasant table d'hôtes. All rooms overlook the courtyard garden, the perfect place for a lovely picnic, a good book or to relax after a visit to Sarlat or one of the many activities that Périgord Noir has to offer. La Colline, located on a sunny slope on the edge of Sarlat-La-Canéda, is the ideal base for exploring the Dordogne. A short walk (2 km) takes you to the world-famous restored medieval town centre of Sarlat-La-Canéda. Sarlat has the label "city of art and history" and is located in the heart of Périgord Noir. This region is known for its beautiful nature, delicious cuisine, rich history and protected heritage. In the immediate vicinity you will find numerous prehistoric sites and painted caves, 15 of which are on the UNESCO World Heritage list, such as the Lascaux cave. The Périgord, which has 10 of the "most beautiful villages in France", offers something for everyone: castles, bridges, abbeys, churches, winding streets... In our view, the charming markets are also among the "must-sees" of this region. Rocamadour, a place of pilgrimage and UNESCO World Heritage site, is a bit further away (50 km) but is definitely worth an hour's drive. Lovers of an active holiday can choose from a variety of sports activities and fun events offered in the immediate area. Think kayaking, horse riding, cycling, hiking, geocaching, boat trips, donkey treks... Prefer something less active? A 10-minute drive away is "L'étang de Tamniès", a beautiful recreational area. Of course, you can also simply enjoy the peace and quiet in our garden with a glass of wine and a good book.
