Joia is Portuguese for jewel, Nora is the hamlet where our villa is located. We are Sabrina and Patrick, a couple in our 50s, who have spent our holidays in Portugal for many years and fell in love with the country. Eventually we decided to buy a holiday villa for our own use and rental. Since we ourselves visit very regularly, we expect our guests to treat the house as their own place, and to be able to fully relax in this beautiful piece of nature and tranquility. In autumn we have already seen several large wild animals a couple of hundred meters from our house, truly magnificent: wild boar, deer... Very quietly situated villa for 8 to 10 persons, 100% privacy, 1 km from the road via our own private driveway...built in 2005 and renovated in 2015, the year we purchased it. Estate of 5300 m² with its own swimming pool, walled garden of 2000 m² and a good 3000 m² fruit orchard laid out in 2016, with fruit trees. 4 bedrooms each with a full size double bed (1.8 m wide) and in 2 rooms a pull-out sofa bed 90 cm wide.
