Kristof, Heidi, Alessie and Mauro warmly welcome you to the stylishly renovated Mexican villa in Jausiers (1200m), a picturesque village surrounded by the Alps of Haute-Provence in the Ubaye river valley with more than 300 days of sunshine per year!
In the nearby tourist town of Barcelonnette you can enjoy pleasant shopping or sit on a terrace. At the foot of the highest pass through the Alps, it is a paradise for paragliding, rafting, swimming, hiking, horseback riding and of course CYCLING, both on the road and mountain biking. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, there is the Le Siguret leisure park just a hundred metres from the villa. There you can rent pedal boats or swim in the supervised area. Moreover, there are also plenty of activities for the children. In winter you can ski or cross-country ski at the pleasant ski resorts Pra Loup, Le Sauze, St.-Anne or Larche, which can be reached in about twenty minutes by free bus service. (Stop 200m from La Mexicaine)
In any case, both summer and winter offer numerous opportunities to enjoy a pleasant and active holiday with your family. During the other months you can enjoy the breathtaking nature during the many marked hiking trails.

Ideaal om te fietsen en te wandelen. Ok perfecte locatie om te toeren met de moto. Overdag heerlijk warm en verkoelende nachten om met open raam te slapen. Lekker ontbijt en diner.

Positief: heel rustig gelegen in een authentieke villa en toch op enkele minuutjes van het centrum van het dorpje
Ruime familiekamer met houten plankenvloer. Trampoline, glijbaan en opbouwzwembad in de grote tuin met gezellige terrashoekjes. Enkele keren per week mogelijkheid tot avondeten (= mix tussen Vlaamse en Franse keuken) ook het ontbijt is een mix tussen de Vlaamse en Franse gewoontes met heerlijke streekconfituren. Wij zijn alvast fan en komen terug.
