Garden Retreat is a small luxury guesthouse in the green suburb of Pinelands. The original house dates from around 1940 and has been completely renovated with a modern touch, while preserving the old historic structure. There is 1 room in the house, a cottage and a Rondavel (typical African hut) available for rent. All rooms have their own bathroom with every comfort. A continental breakfast is included in the room rate. The garden offers a beautiful bar area with lounge and a large heated swimming pool that can be enjoyed pleasantly for most of the year. The location is ideal for excursions to the city centre (7km), Kirstenbosch or the wine regions of Stellenbosch, Paarl, Somerset West and Elgin or Hermanus. We also offer the possibility to dine, by reservation.
This is the only room located in the main house, the room has a very spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and a private terrace overlooking the koi pond with waterfall. Furthermore, all possible luxury is provided such as, air conditioning, safe, coffee and tea, smart TV, refrigerator, bathrobes, hairdryer and bath products by "Charlotte Rhys"
Our cottage has a somewhat more modern appearance than the other rooms and also features a separate bathroom with walk-in shower, as well as a separate toilet and a separate sitting area. From your private terrace you have a view of the garden and swimming pool.
