In an idyllic landscape, in the calm and peaceful nature, we have renovated a former farmhouse, with centuries-old half-timbering and stone walls, with respect for tradition and with attention to modern comfort. In the recently renovated comfortable holiday home there is room for 4 to 5 people. There are two bedrooms, each with bathroom and toilet. In the mezzanine there is still room for 1 to 2 people. We offer our gîte guests an extensive breakfast on their first morning, and drinks are provided in their refrigerator. Outside there are various terraces for all guests, a summer kitchen with barbecue, a swimming pool and a large garden. The salt water swimming pool has solar heating. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Because there are so many small restaurants offering delicious affordable menus, and because our guests have the opportunity to prepare and eat the delicious local products offered at the many markets themselves, we do not offer table d'hôtes. The undulating landscape around is dotted with small lakes and farmland and orchards. There are also the medieval villages, the castles, gardens and parks, the walking and cycling routes including the route to Compostella, the prehistoric sites and the wine routes. We are happy to provide documentation and information!

P'tit Faures

From September to June, the price for a week is 760 euros for 4 people, everything included - including cleaning. In July and August, the price for a week is 960 euros for 4 people. Each additional person increases the price by 100 euros per week. Our holiday cottage for 4 to 6 people consists of a living room with an adjoining fitted kitchen. There is a mezzanine with a lounge area, a small library, a TV and a DVD player. In the living room there is a stereo system with a CD player. In the kitchen there is an electric cooker with oven, a cooker hood, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer combination, a kettle, coffee maker etc. There is air conditioning. There are two bedrooms, each with a bathroom and a toilet. In one bedroom there is a double bed (140 x 195) and in the other there are two beds of 90 x 200. The clic-clac in the mezzanine can be converted into a bed of 130 x 190. There is an ironing board, a steam iron, a vacuum cleaner and a washing machine. There is a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. Guests may also make use of the various terraces and gardens and the swimming pool. The beds are made up, there is a welcome drink in the fridge and the first breakfast is offered free of charge. RESERVATION CALENDAR: The gîte is still available until 14 July and then from 19 August onwards.

    We hadden wat pech met het weer, maar dankzij Dorothée en Peter + sympathieke kleinkinderen hadden we hier een super fijne vakantie in een heel aangenaam huisje!

    Positief: Locatie, ontvangst, Ontbijt, Zwembad, kindvriendelijkheid, buitenkeuken, ... Negatief: geen. Dit blijft voor ons 1 van onze hoogtepunten de afgelopen 2 jaar. Normaalgezien keren we niet terug naar dezelfde plek. Voor Peter en Dorothee maken we graag een uitzondering!

    Positief: De eigenaars zijn heel lieve mensen die altijd voor je klaarstaan als je vragen hebt en voor de rest zijn ze niet opdringerig. We logeerden in het huisje dat groot genoeg is voor vijf personen. Alles wat je nodig hebt om je vakantie te doen slagen, is aanwezig!

    Positief: - Rustige ligging met alle faciliteiten. - Interessant: in die periode organiseren locale producenten markjes in diverse dorpen, waar je locale producten kunt degusteren en eten op ( meestal) de marktplaats. Een echte aanrader om meermaals te doen. - Heel vriendelijke eigenaars en gemoedelijke sfeer.
