With a pleasant slowness, strolling through the red, narrow sand streets, the cheerful hustle and bustle of the Senegalese people, the sun-drenched almost solitary abandoned beaches, the brilliant reflection of light on the azure blue ocean, the vibrant diversity of nature that embraces the country, the delicious African cuisine enhanced with original French elements and all of it flooded with tons of local colour... You would leave Belgium for less. After crossing several continents in search of where we could make our ultimate dream come true, we realized that our hearts were passionately racing here. In a cosy neighbourhood, between French people and locals, we eventually found two dream houses that in our view belonged together, and that was the starting shot of Casa Louka & Louka Beach. Louka Beach: this charming beach house has everything to make it a unique, unforgettable holiday. Do some laps in the swimming pool after a nourishing breakfast with a view of the sea, lose yourself in an exciting book in the shade of the palm fronds, or take endless walks along the kilometre-long sandy beach. The house is surrounded by an idyllic private beach. Sunbeds and parasols invite you to linger a moment. Be sure to also visit our bar, where you will be refreshed and swept away by Hans' famous cocktails. With your feet in the sand, you will soon also be able to enjoy a light lunch here. For those who are sporty, stand-up paddles and surfboards are provided! Louka Beach offers three guest rooms, two of which are connected to the swimming pool and overlook the mighty, endless ocean. The third room, an idyllic hut, leans literally on the beautiful interior garden which was completely painted with bougainvillea. All rooms have been carefully renovated, taking into account the local charm, combined with a personal touch. Comfortable beds, new bathrooms and the presence of air conditioning complete the picture of this dream spot. Casa Louka: This beautiful colonial house is just a stone's throw from the sea and also close to Louka Beach. The house has 6 guest rooms and is built around a walled courtyard with swimming pool, parasols and sunbeds, lounge area and of course a cosy bar. The stylish rooms and bathrooms have been completely renovated and are equipped with air conditioning. Guests of Casa Louka are of course also welcome on the beach of Louka Beach, where they can use all the facilities.
We have the following room types: a family room for a maximum of 6 people distributed over two bedrooms and one shared bathroom, superior rooms for 2 to 3 people, and standard rooms with one double bed or 2 single beds.
