Welcome to Casa Algezar – Your Off-Grid Holiday Paradise under the Spanish Sun! Imagine: a place where time seems to stand still, surrounded by the tranquility of nature and the warmth of the sun. A place where relaxation is central, and where you can immerse yourself in the peace and beauty of the Spanish landscape. We are located in the breathtakingly beautiful Hondon Valley, in the picturesque village of La Canalosa – far away from mass tourism, where you can leave the hustle and bustle of the world behind. Our B&B is completely off-grid, which means we are not dependent on the usual networks for water or electricity. We provide completely for our own energy needs via solar panels and batteries. Rainwater is carefully collected, filtered and stored in a large water tank, after which we use it for household purposes. Extra water is delivered by truck. To complete the circle, we purify the used water in our own purification facility and reed bed, after which it is reused for irrigation of our garden. We strive for a conscious and environmentally friendly way of staying, and prove that sustainability can go hand in hand with luxury and comfort. At Casa Algezar we want to offer more than just a place to stay. We strive for a warm, relaxed atmosphere in which you will feel at home immediately, surrounded by everything you need to truly unwind. • Stylish Accommodations: We use as many natural materials as possible with lots of wood accents. It creates a cosy atmosphere and this is no coincidence as Stein is a carpenter and makes everything himself. Choose from one of our seven spacious rooms, or opt for the charm of our Tiny House with its own little kitchen and complete privacy and from March 2025 also its own private swimming pool. Perfect for couples, families or friends who want to enjoy this unique piece of Spain together. • Oasis of Rest and Comfort: Start your day with a delicious, fresh breakfast, served with an enchanting view of the Hondon Valley. In summer you can enjoy breakfast outside. Our garden offers plenty of quiet corners to relax, while the saltwater swimming pool invites you for a refreshing dip or a moment of complete relaxation with a cocktail or local wine in hand. At Casa Algezar we offer a perfect balance between relaxation and activity, with something for everyone: • For Nature Lovers: Put on your walking shoes and explore the countless walking routes around Casa Algezar, including the famous GR 330, which winds past our house. You can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the region, away from the hustle and bustle. • For Active Guests: Cyclists can have a field day on the challenging mountain roads, gravel paths or mountain bike routes. In the village you will find brand new sports facilities, where you can paddle, play tennis, basketball or mini football for free. Super mooie B&B gerund door een superlieve familie. Gelogeerd in het prachtige Tiny house met privezwembad en zandstrandje. Het uitzicht bij het wakkerworden is echt subliem. Ontbijt is top en 2x kunnen aanschuiven aan het gezamelijke diner dat ook superlekker en gezellig was. In de omgeving kan je gratis padellen en tennissen, leuke stadjes ontdekken, fietsen, wandelen,... Als je op zoek bent naar pure verwennerij in een mooie omgeving, dan moet je hier zijn. Nog eens bedankt Goedele, Stijn, Gerben en Mauro!
Een Verborgen Parel in Spanje We hadden onlangs het genoegen om te verblijven bij Casa Algezar, een heerlijk B&B nabij Alicante en Elche, gerund door het charmante stel Goedele en Stein, samen met hun twee tienerzonen. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen, waren we betoverd door de serene omgeving en de warme gastvrijheid. Gelegen te midden van de natuur en dicht bij de bergen, biedt Casa Algezar een rustige ontsnapping aan de drukte van het dagelijks leven. De locatie is perfect, met de zon die het terrein van 's morgens tot 's avonds verlicht, wat zorgt voor een prachtige en ontspannende sfeer. De B&B bevindt zich op een ruim landgoed, met tal van plekken om te genieten van de rustige omgeving of om in alle privacy een boek te lezen. De kamers zijn uitzonderlijk mooi, ruim en onberispelijk schoon, wat zorgt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Hoewel de frisse wind het wat te koud maakte om te zwemmen, was het zwembadgebied nog steeds een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de omgeving. Goedele en Stein deden er alles aan om onze vakantie tot een geweldige ervaring te maken, inclusief Goedele's geweldige kookkunsten. Ze bereidde heerlijke diners voor de gasten een paar dagen per week, wat een speciale touch aan ons verblijf gaf. Hoewel de ochtenden wat te koud waren voor ontbijt buiten, maakte de interne eetruimte met zijn 180-graden uitzicht dit goed. We konden nog steeds genieten van de zon, de blauwe lucht en de prachtige omgeving. We verbleven bij Casa Algezar eind maart en begin april, en Goedele en Stein's aandacht voor detail en hun oprechte zorg voor hun gasten maakten ons verblijf echt onvergetelijk. We raden Casa Algezar ten zeerste aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een rustige retraite in het hart van de natuur.
Buitengewoon! Superlatieven tekort om dit paradijsje te omschrijven. Stein en Goedele stelden alles in het werk om het ons zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Het eten, de drankjes, de sfeer, allemaal top. Hier komen we zeker terug.
Wij werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Goedele de gastvrouw bij aankomst. We kregen een welkomstdrankje en een fijne rondleiding op het domein. Onze indruk was meteen; WOW! Dat was het ook. Het ontbijt , het avondeten, en de kamer waren allemaal piekfijn verzorgd. Het verblijf heeft ook alles om het volledig naar je zin te maken. Goedele stond altijd voor ons klaar en als we een vraag hadden dan kregen we direct antwoord of info. Wij hebben hier een zeer fijne tijd gehad en als we nog eens in de buurt zijn , dan gaan we zeker terug. Voor ons was dit een geslaagde vakantie. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf aan Goedele, Stein, en de kinderen!
