Melrose Castle Studio The ideal studio/room for a romantic stay. This room on the 1st floor is 25m2 in size (excl. bathroom) with a beautiful view of the church of Brion. In the cosy studio there is a lovely 2-person bed (boxspring) of 160x200, a kitchen, a dining area and a seating area with TV and DVD player. At the kitchen counter there are two high stools for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. WiFi is available. The spacious bathroom (7m2) has a classic bath, a shower cubicle, toilet, and a sink. In the spacious kitchen everything is available to prepare a lovely breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Fully equipped kitchen: fridge / oven / Nespresso machine / kettle / mixer / toastie maker / etc. During the high season (July and August) we offer our guests a fresh bread service, so you can start the day with fresh croissants and baguettes. Minimum stay: 2 nights in low and mid season, 3 nights in high season.

Château Studio Montigny (1-3 pers). A stylish studio on the 1st floor, with views of the swimming pool and the countryside. Ideal for a flexible stay (minimum 3 days in high season). The studio consists of - two bedrooms (maximum 3 persons) - a separate kitchen - a bathroom with shower and bath - a separate toilet with additional sink The spacious bedroom has a double bed (160x200) and a seating area with TV. The side room (7m2) has a single bed and an armchair. In the seating area is a TV / DVD player with various free-to-air channels. Wifi is available throughout the studio. The spacious bathroom (10m2) has a classic bath, a shower cubicle, and a sink. In the spacious kitchen, everything is available to make a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner. During high season (July and August), we offer our guests a fresh bread service, so you can start the day with fresh croissants and baguettes. Fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator / oven / dishwasher / Nespresso machine / kettle / mixer / toasted sandwich maker / etc. Guests can also make use of the terraces and picnic tables around the château to enjoy their dinner or drinks in the evening sun. Giffard Castle Apartment (2-5 pers). On the second floor, spanning the entire west wing of the castle, is this beautiful apartment. -This apartment features a 'salon' (living room of 22m2) with a seating area and dining table. -From the living room you enter the beautiful modern kitchen (10m2). -In the large master bedroom there is a double bed and a single bed (23m2). -In the adjacent bedroom there are two single beds (9m2). -And of course a private bathroom with shower, toilet and spacious sink (5m2). Giffard - Salon / Living room: In the cosy salon is a comfortable seating area around the old fireplace (not in use). At the large dining table you can enjoy a lovely breakfast or dinner (max 5p). Of course you can also make use of the terraces around the chateau to enjoy your dinner in the evening sun. In this living room there is a TV with DVD player with various free-to-air channels. Wifi is available throughout the apartment. Giffard - spacious kitchen: In the spacious kitchen everything is available to prepare a delicious breakfast or dinner. A very large bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (90x200) (2-3p). Adjacent to it a bedroom with two single beds (90x200) (2p). From the bedrooms you have a beautiful view over the fields surrounding the chateau. Giffard - bathroom: A beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower, spacious sink and toilet. Price is based on 2 people. Extra person is €50,- pppw. Bed linen, final cleaning, towels = €75,- per booking.

In the east wing on the second floor is our spacious Loft apartment: Calville d'aout. This loft has a main room (39m2) with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (90x200), and has a spacious sitting area. Adjacent to this room is a large living-kitchen with a spacious dining table (20m2). In this spacious kitchen everything is available to make a delicious breakfast or dinner. During peak season (July and August) we offer our guests a fresh bread service, so you can start the day with fresh croissants and baguettes. Fully equipped kitchen: refrigerator / oven / dishwasher / coffee and Nespresso machine / kettle / mixer / toastie maker / etc. In the small but cozy 'ensuite' bedroom (7m2) there are two single beds (each 90x200). And of course there is your own spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. peace and space ... for 2 to 5 persons Our five-person gite, partly in the former stables of the caretaker's house, has been completely renovated in 2020. On one side you have a view of the chateau, on the other side a view of the old Verger (orchard). A wonderful home that is ideal for families (max 5 persons) or two friendly couples. You enter the home through the open stable doors. *** ground floor *** On the ground floor is the living room with a comfortable seating area and a cosy wood stove. In the living room there is a TV with DVD, Chromecast, and of course free WIFI. The beautiful open kitchen is luxuriously equipped with, among other things, a large stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee and Nespresso machine, kettle, stick blender, toastie iron. In the hall there is a toilet and a room with washing machine and tumble dryer. All rooms have electric heating. And if it gets too warm? Use the air conditioning in the living room to keep it pleasantly cool. *** first floor *** You reach the first floor via the old oak staircase. Mezzanine with a single bed (90 x200). At the front of the house is the first bedroom with two single beds (each 90x200). The master bedroom next to it has a comfortable double bed (160x200). The modern bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. About our gite: Le Petit Verger 2-4 people - (max 2 adults and 2 children/ or max 3 adults) In the old manager's house, about 70 meters from the chateau, we have created our new gite. Because it is located next to the orchard ('le verger' in French), we named the gite 'Le Petit Verger'. From the gite you can see Chateau La Mothaye, and on the other side you have a beautiful view over the fields and this old orchard. The living room is atmospherically furnished with a seating area and a spacious dining table. There is a cozy wood stove to make it wonderfully warm (but of course this can also be done via the electric heaters in every room). And if it gets too warm? Then we have air conditioning to keep it pleasantly cool. Equipment: of course WIFI, a TV (with local channels) and a DVD player. In the semi-open kitchen you can prepare the most delicious dishes. The kitchen is fully equipped, including: refrigerator / microwave / oven / coffee and Nespresso machine / dishwasher / toaster / mixer / etc. The gite has two bedrooms: the 'master' bedroom with a double bed (106x200). the 'children's' bedroom with a sturdy bunk bed (each 90x200). All windows in the bedrooms and in the bathroom have mosquito nets. Price is based on 2 people, additional person is €50,- per person per week. Towels and bed linen are provided based on the number of guests booked. Smoking in the gites and suites is unfortunately not permitted. Pets are only allowed in the gites (Le Grand Verger and Le Petit Verger) and by arrangement (€5,- per pet per day).
